The object, of course, is to hit the ball as high and long as you can. A rugby style kick (lowish and long) is no good since the returning team will get the ball and run it back. Ideally you want your kick coverage to arrive down field as the ball is caught by the returner so he will fair catch the ball, let it bounce, or not be able to run with any space (i.e. he'll be tackled straight away).
Although the screens are high enough due to league rules, commonsense should dictate that they're raised higher. Just not for this season, apparently.

The 75,000 seat Cowboys Stadium sets an attendance record of 105,121.

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent ... index.htmlThe eastside Party Pass area at Cowboys Stadium was already teeming with fans before kickoff on Sunday. The six end zone plazas can accommodate 15,000 fans, but 30,000 tickets for the areas were sold.
Interesting.

This is from an email from the Dallas Cowboys to a angry fan
"......if it helps at all, the only reason so many party passes were sold for Sunday's game was to break the attendance record. I can assure you that only 1/3 of that amount of party passes will be sold for each game going forward...10,000 max instead of 30,000. That was a one-time deal for the grand opening of the stadium.
Sincerely, Dallas Cowboys Football Club.........."

From my reading, these "Party Passes" allow the spectator to enter the Stadium, but can not view the field at all.The game is watched on the screens and in the back corridors.....
What a joke...

Compare the apparent size of the scoreboard to the actual court in the first pic. FMD
