The size hits you from that shot...

Just wish it was more imaginative for what they spent on it, looks just like a bigger version of Emirates.

I reckon they would have restricted the number allowed in - if something went wrong they'd want it to be with 50,000 fans - not packed at 90k.

That's the same reason they are only allowing 60,000 in for the first football matched to be played there - England U21 v Italy U21 this week - the game sold out in minutes, but they only had 60,000 tickets for sale.

Yeah I remember reading that they were only letting in 25,000-odd for that first test event. Red is ok for the seats, but I reckon they should have integrated some sort of pattern using slightly darker seats, similar to Telstra Stadium etc rather than having all seats the same colour. Anyway, the stadium looks great, and it's almost as big as the MCG!

Ken Oath.

60,000 in there rattle around like 6,000 at Telstra.

Red was the colour of Old Wembley's seats and this one also has WEMBLEY written in white seats with blue seat trim. It's almost the only thing they've replicated. I like it.

I agree.

Speaking of Wembley, you guys have to watch Sixty-Six. It's a nice feel good movie but more importantly - loads of soccer and Wembley references.

God, she’s a big beautiful motherfucker. Also, I hadn’t noticed before but one side (presumably the western side) has a second tier of corp boxes (first pic below). A little like the Docklands look.
