I can't wait for the shitness of Subiaco Oval to further eminate into supporters of the rectangular codes.Hopefully more $$$ for the FFA – which is possible given that we’ve had some pretty big crowds for nothing matches against Paragauy in Brisbane, Greece in Melbourne and Uruguay in Sydney. Hopefully, Perth won’t miss out for once.
And we will not get them, because we did not get more then 13,000 on a Tuesday night against Indonesia with a Frank Farina led pack of gypsy's at the sh*t hole.Nah no socceroos games for us. We don't deserve them because we didn't get 50,000 to f***ing olyroos games for the last decade.
3 Sydney, 3 Melbourne and 1 Brisbane is my tip...

Shouldn't be in Australia to begin with.Simmo79 wrote:They're in danger of over-dosing Sydney with matches. Surely that would have been a good match to give to Brisbane or Perth?Saints-Premiers wrote:And they're playing China in OCtober in.... you guessed it...Aussie Stadium
Moronic to schedule friendlies (intended for all the European first-choice players) in Australia during the European season, particularly when we have Asian qualifiers to have the team playing here fairly regularly nowadays.

This is off-topic but Gosford has 2 and Newcastle has 1 olympics final stage qualifers.

Going to Iraq, North Korea and Lebanon will be very very tough on the away legs.
What kind of crowds will Newcastle and Gosford get for these games, this is a guess but i am hoping 10k+.

A little disappointed with ticket sales for tonight's big match against Argentina. Although a Tuesday night and several stars missing doesn't help. 65,000 tickets have been pre-sold, the MCG is predicting 70,000, some were reporting in the press yesterday 80,000. I'd be happy with over 80k. Check out the MCG webcam to see the ground being prepared for tonight.
