If the match is sold out isn't that close to double what they got in Melbourne for basically the same game?

Basically the same game? I trust you're joking yob? Compare the build-up for the Melbourne game to the tonight's Sydney game. Like the last campaign, Sydney gets the final game - it all comes down to tonight. A win and the players celebrate a birth in a 2014 World Cup finals. 20,000 die-hards & 60,000 theatre-goers at ANZ tonight! Nothing wrong with that though - great to see it sold-out. Pumped for the game!

Aussies to win 3-0

Melbourne got the final game last campaign because the Victorian Government bought the rights to host it. 74,100 attended. It was a pretty decent crowd for a dead rubber though.

I'm pumped too but there's some heavy showers about.
Homebush has already copped a couple.
Thunderstorms also forecast.
Might diminish the standard a little.

Who was the plonka who decided to heavily water the pitch just before the game? Clearly didn't bother checking the radar before making that decision...

And so are the prelim final and the grand final. Jordan game kept us alive and a game closer to the prize. Winning the iraq game gave us the prize. Just like a grand final.

Is this the official "f**k the fanatics" thread or should we start another one?

All the games are awarded the same number of points. Doesn't change because of context or the order. 3 points. We won the grand finals in Melbourne and Sydney and lost the grand final in Jordan.

You're right. But that's not how it *felt*. This isn't about logic, it's about feelings.
