For anyone that's been following the Brad Smith "will he or won't he," Ange has named him for our next 2 friendlies.

Cool tournament. I was at the UAE - Qatar game which had the smallest crowd so far and it was pretty fun

Reportedly the most well attended tournament to date. Not sure if true? But love the fukn thing.
This may sound strange, but I'm not so sure about the expansion beyond 16 teams. Not from a depth point of view, but the current number is just perfect size to keep track of. It's realistic that you can watch all the games, and some narrative can build.

2004: 31877

It was either Speedy, Cock or Hill.
On another matter, is Saudi Arabia the most frustrating team to watch? f**k me, I've sat through 120 minutes of their football and they haven't produced a single shot on target in open play. Nothing they do has any purpose. And they're total wankers on top of it. I am going to fukn neck it.

Only 4 goals from SA after that post, laughing, final leg of my multi.
Swallowed Fukn Dictionary Man repeated the "most attended asian cup" claim in the call with Simon Hill.

Could be total attendance, but it went to 16 teams in 07 so still not very likely.

Only 19k to Japan's annual brain explosion in Sydney doesn't help the crowds claim.
But it helps the Socceroos Asian Cup FUKN!!

I'm not usually one for shock jocks. But Tim Cahill hanging up on Laws, what a legend. After grilling Cahill on his contract with Shanghai Shenhua he goes on to question Tim's out there claim we're the champions of Asia, and is promptly hung up on.

John Laws can eat a big bag of dicks.
