Austadiums AFL DreamTeam Banter
Here's the topic to discuss 2011 Austadiums DreamTeam.
http://dreamteam.afl.com.au - Comp #636940
And after Round 1, I shouldn't be discussing it much at all... bottom of the ladder!
Never got around to removing Hodge out of my side, and he's my vice captain.

^ Its a typical Austadiums Tipping/Dreamteam comp, nobody gives a sh*t after 4-5 weeks.

The worrying this is, I'm actually trying this year. At least I've had a win in my other comp.

I have two teams, the team I thought about a lot in setting it up, and its the one in this competition, and is going about as well as Gold Coast. My other team which I slapped together the night before the first game I'm averaging about 100-200 points better a round.
The moral of the story, sometimes trying doesn't work.

Usually what happens when people 'try' is they spend most of their time talking themselves out of the best players. Zac Smith for example. How he wasn't selected 286,000 times is beyond me.beastjim wrote:I have two teams, the team I thought about a lot in setting it up, and its the one in this competition, and is going about as well as Gold Coast. Re: Austadiums AFL DreamTeam Banter
So, the grand final this week. We have Nick Maxwell - a bloke who has played 16 AFL games this season, versus me - a bloke who has watched 22 minutes of football this season, collated stats in to a spread sheet and played the numbers, and currently ranked 582/304,133.
Now if that isn't an emphatic statement of how predictable this sport has become then what is.
