Andrea Hayward of WA Today wrote:Teacher guilty of sex with students
A former teacher and soccer coach has pleaded guilty to having sex with two of his students, one of which engaged in a threesome with him and his girlfriend.
Brett Rodney Daley, 32, pleaded guilty in the West Australian District Court today to seven counts of sexual penetration with a girl over 16 under his care and supervision, and one count of having a sexual relationship with a second girl aged between 13 and 16,.
His girlfriend Natasha Charmaine Krispyn, 21, pleaded guilty to performing oral sex on the younger girl.
Prosecutor Gary Huggins told the court Daley sexually penetrated the 16-year-old girl seven times between March and July in 2006, with the first offence taking place in the school gymnasium.
Mr Huggins said the second time the pair had sex, Daley had sent the girl an SMS invitation to engage in sexual activity. He picked the girl up in his vehicle and drove her to a bush track, where the act occurred.
After the school ball in April, 2006, Daley had sent an SMS message to the girl telling her how good she looked, before collecting her from the ball, driving to an undisclosed location and having sex in a swag.
The girl sent Daley a text message in July 2006 telling him it was "all too much" and she didn't want to continue the relationship, Mr Huggins said.
Daley began a sexual relationship with the second, younger girl in June 2006, which lasted until November 2007.
Mr Huggins said the girl was a friend of Krispyn's and the relationship began when she and the girl were drinking after a soccer game.
He said the girl felt tired after the game and lay down in a bed. Daley and Krispyn then entered the room and started having sex together, before Daley had sex with the girl.
Daley and the girl maintained a sexual relationship, and Mr Huggins said on a later occasion Krispyn performed oral sex on the girl.
Daley eventually called off the relationship in November by sending the girl a text message telling her "he was sorry he had to end it this way," Mr Huggins said.
Judge Mary Ann Yeats ordered psychiatric reports for the pair before they are sentenced in November.
Daley has been remanded in custody until that time, but Judge Yeats released Krispyn on bail.
"You were a very young women at the time this happened," Judge Yeats said.
Krispyn was a former student at the same school at which Daley was a teacher.

January 7, 2009 - 4:24PM
A drug-runner who filmed himself masturbating while driving at 150 kmh has been sentenced to two months jail.
Brendon Alan Erhardt, 39, was pulled over by police on July 16 last year, 25km south of Daly Waters.
He was returning to the Northern Territory from Adelaide, where he had used an inheritance from his dead mother to buy a Holden SV6 and 5kg of cannabis.
Inside the car, police discovered 10 packages of cannabis hidden in a blue esky in the boot, two cannabis plants on the back seat, two drug pipes and a loaded .22 rifle.
Erhardt told the officers he had been masturbating shortly before being stopped for speeding on the 130km/h stretch of the Stuart Hwy.
He had filmed himself travelling at a speed of 150kmh.
"(It is) conduct one might expect of a much younger immature person to engage in," Magistrate Sue Oliver told Darwin Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Erhardt pleaded guilty' to six charges, including carrying an unregistered and loaded firearm, driving dangerously and driving unlicensed.
Sentencing him to two months in prison, Magistrate Oliver said his behaviour was strange and humiliating.
"The circumstances of the driving are bizarre to say the least," she said.
"And I would have thought it would cause him some embarrassment to have it aired in a public forum."
Erhardt was also fined $2,000 and disqualified from driving for six months.
The father of two is already serving time in prison over the same incident, after he pleaded guilty in the NT Supreme Court to supplying a schedule two drug and possessing two cannabis plants.
He was sentenced last month to three years in prison with a non-parole period of 12 months.
The Supreme Court heard Erhardt "panicked" when he was stopped by police and told them that he found the drugs at a rest stop about north of Coober Pedy.
He said he planned to take them home and smoke them himself.
"The offending is serious. Such crimes are prevalent," said Justice Stephen Southwood.
"The offender imported almost 10 times the commercial quantity of cannabis into the Northern Territory from South Australia."
The two prison sentences are to be served concurrently.
Gentlemen, the captain of the Northern Territory.

Certainly a candidate for last years NSW team.Man caught with penis in pasta jar

A MAN caught near Nobbys Beach with his penis in a pasta sauce jar led police on a 20 kmh car chase, Newcastle Local Court heard yesterday.
Police drew their weapons when they suspected Keith Roy Weatherley, 46, was armed.
Instead, they found him partially clothed with his genitals in a jar, a police statement said.
Weatherley, of Promontory Way, North Arm Cove, attracted attention parked in a no-stopping zone before noon on October 26.
Police believed Weatherley was doing something with his hands in his lap and thought that he might have a weapon.
Weatherley saw the police and drove away, despite them flashing their lights.
The chase lasted five to 10 minutes, with a top speed of just 20 kmh, before Weatherley was stopped at Centenary Drive, Newcastle. He refused to leave the car.
Four officers used batons and capsicum spray to remove him.
They found a 750-millilitre jar around his penis and noted that Weatherley attempted to continue "pleasuring himself in between bouts of wrestling".
A search of his car uncovered pornography, a home-made sex aid, women's stockings and a Jack Russell terrier.
Weatherley pleaded guilty to offensive behaviour, resisting police and disobeying a police direction.
Magistrate Elaine Truscott asked Weatherley, who represented himself, why he behaved the way he did.
He said he resisted police because he was trying to make himself "decent".
He was fined $600 for offensive behaviour and convicted of the other two offences without further action taken.

Good effort for the minor placings.Police seek blow-up doll sex bandit
An Australian man broke into three adult shops, had sex with blow up dolls named "Jungle Jane" and then dumped his plastic conquests in a nearby alley, local media reported.
"It's totally bizarre. It's a real concern that someone like that is out on the street," said one of the owners of the adult sex shops in Cairns in northern Queensland state.
"He has been taking the dolls out the back and blowing them up and using the dolls and leaving them in the alley," the owner, who gave the name of Vogue, told the Cairns Post newspaper.
Police told the Cairns Post that scientific officers had taken DNA samples, fingerprints and pictures of the crime scene.

Queenslander!Free porn prompts sex acts at libraries
Christine Kellett
August 6, 2009 - 9:14AM
Men are masturbating at public library computer terminals on the Sunshine Coast after using them to download hardcore pornography, it has been revealed.
The Sunshine Regional Council does not employ internet filtering in any of its nine local libraries, where several people have been asked to leave after being caught accessing pornography and performing lewd acts in recent weeks.
Last month, an elderly man was seen downloading hardcore porn in front of children at Maroochydoore public library, and in December last year a 34-year-old man was jailed for two years for possessing child abuse material he had downloaded on public computers in the same venue.
But local councillor Anna Grosskreutz said the situation had escalated in recent weeks, with a the council's Director of Library Services reporting a number of cases of lewd behaviour.
"These people were seen to be masturbating in our public libraries. This behaviour has been verified," Cr Grosskreutz told brisbanetimes.com.au.
"There are librarians having to ask people to leave, which puts them in an extremely awkward position, especially as most of the staff at our libraries are female.
"I would say there were less than a dozen cases that I am aware of."
She said she did not believe any of the cases had been reported to police or had been witnessed by children.
"Staff don't have protocols for this sort of thing. They've just been saying to these people `get out of the library' but really they should be calling someone.
"This is obviously a very serious matter, because public libraries are family-friendly places with lots of young people around. We don't want them exposed to this sort of lewd behaviour, which is obviously a secondary behaviour to the (downloading of) pornography."
Cr Grosskreutz will today present a petition containing more than 3000 signatures from parents and library users calling on the Sunshine Regional Council to install internet filtering software, which is used on computers in the council's own headquarters.
A special taskforce has also been convened and library staff will meet with IT specialists and councillors in a fortnight to discuss a range of options, including registration to use library computers, swipe card access, monitoring and a possible total internet ban.
She would not say if the council would consider blocking internet access at its public libraries until the problem was resolved.
"I think the council has probably acted too slowly on this issue," she said.
"The pressure is on us to do something about it because we do not want to be attracting people to our public libraries for this purpose."
