Financial Solution for Parra Stadium Naming

The search for a naming rights sponsor for Parramatta Stadium has progressed somewhat, with an innovative financial solution currently on the table, according to Russell Hanna from Carnegie Sports International, sponsorship consultant for the project. Hanna told On Sport that the proposed deal is with an undisclosed financial institution and could see the company financing the scheduled $22 million upgrade to the stadium, with the part of the interest payments for the loan offset by the naming rights sponsorship. He added that because the loan would be over a ten-year period, the length of the naming deal would also be around that timeframe.
