The Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre was constructed for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The Tennis Centre provides a range of facilities including a 10,500-seat centre court stadium, 15 outside courts, Pro-Shop, café and function centre overlooking Sydney Olympic Park and surrounding courts.

The centre court, officially known as the Ken Roswell Arena, includes 10,500 seats with a roof covering 70 per cent of seats. All court surfaces are made of PlexiCushion, the same material used at Melbourne Park, home of the Australian Open. The centre plays host to the annual Sydney International, held one week prior to the Australian Open.
