Morwell Recreation Reserve

Morwell Recreation Reserve is an Australian football and cricket facility located in the Victorian town of Morwell. It is the home ground of the Gippsland Power Football Club in the U18 NAB League, the Morwell Football Club and the Morwell Cricket Club. The ground occasionally hosts pre-season AFL matches, with 12,000 fans watching Essendon v Richmond in 2005, and it also hosted a Collingwood AFLW match in 2019. The ground has also previously hosted international cricket, featuring Australia in 1978 and Sri Lanka in 1985.

A $9 million upgrade, funded by Federal and State Governments, was completed in 2020 to elevate the ground as a regional leader and AFL Centre of Excellence. The expansion included construction of a full-size multipurpose synthetic training oval with lighting, new plexipave netball courts, a shared cricket and netball pavilion, upgraded change rooms, new lights to the main oval and an upgrade to the neighbouring Keegan Street Reserve.
