Exies Oval

Exies Oval is a sports ground located at the Griffith Exies Club in Griffith in regional New South Wales. The oval is primarily used for Australian rules football and cricket, and is the home ground of the Griffith Swans Football Club and the Griffith Cricket Club. The ground has a capacity of 10,000 spectators, and features a grandstand, seating areas, elevated standing room and amenities such as toilets and food concessions. The oval is also used for rugby league, union and other events such as concerts and community gatherings. It is located on the west bank of the Murrumbidgee River.

The record crowd for the ground is around 8,000 for an International Cricket match in the 1960's against the English M.C.C. The largest recorded crowd for a Rugby League game is 6,831 for a trial between Parramatta and Melbourne in 2006, while the largest Australian Football crowd is 5,500 in 1996 for a pre-season game between Sydney and Brisbane. The complex also includes a fully lit training facility adjacent to the main oval.
