Riverway Stadium

Riverway Stadium is an AFL and cricket facility located in Townsville, North Queensland. The venue attracts AFL and cricket matches at local, regional, state and national levels.

A two storey grandstand includes seating for 1,000 fans and features a cantilevered roof curving in both cross and long sections, which rise from just above the spectator berms. There's also a corporate lounge and player facilities. There's a hill around the ground for spectators, lights and a large video screen/scoreboard.

Riverway Stadium will host its first AFL Premiership Season match in 2019 with the Gold Coast Suns playing a home game at the venue.
