UniSC Arena
UniSC Arena (formerly known as USC Stadium) is an indoor arena located at the University of Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs Campus. The 3,000-seat arena serves as the home venue of Super Netball team Sunshine Coast Lightning. The arena was originally upgraded to host the Lightning in 2017, increasing the seating capacity from 320 to 2,000 with two new retractable grandstands at the northern and southern sides forming the new-look show court. Due to the success of the Lightning, selling out every match in the first two seasons, the facility received another upgraded with 1,000 new seats constructed at the eastern end, increasing the total capacity to 3,000. The most recent upgrade was completed in May 2019 - shortly after the start of the 2019 season. The name of the venue was updated from USC Stadium to UniSC Arena in December 2022, to reflect UniSC’s brand refresh that took place in July.
