Gold Coast Hockey Centre
The $16.5 million redevelopment of the Gold Coast Hockey Centre was completed in June 2017 and provides the Gold Coast with contemporary hockey facilities designed to cater for elite training and competitions as well as community use.
Located at Keith Hunt Park in Labrador, the Gold Coast Hockey Centre is home to the Gold Coast Hockey Association and the Labrador Hockey Club, and hosted hockey during the 2018 Commonwealth Games, with temporary seating used to boost its capacity.
The redevelopment included two newly developed, internationally certified, all-weather synthetic hockey pitches with north-south orientation, in addition to an expansion of the clubhouse amenities, an upgraded car park and surrounding parklands.
