Yes, the facilities are pretty decent (plenty of toilets and food vendors, though the TAB is hidden away a bit). Yes, it's pretty easy to get to thanks to the nearby train station, especially if your match is defined as a 'special event' and gets express services. But the viewing is complete crap even on level 1: you're miles away from the action because of how shallow the rake is and how far the touchline is from the front row. And don't even bother sitting behind the posts - thanks to the AFL bastardising the place, the front row is more than 10 metres from the dead-ball line. If we get the world cup then ANZ will be redeveloped into a proper rectangular ground rather than the horrible hybrid it is now. That would be a massive improvement.

As an avid wests tigers supporter I thank god we left this monstrosity. Far to big for nrl club games and lacks atmosphere detracting from a proper club game experience. 1st class for origin and major semis and the grand final but no club games should ever be played here

The Greatest Stadium in Australia ! Suncorp stadium 2nd the daylight. The over-rated MCG not even in the top ten...

When full ie. Bledisloe Cup, NRL grandfinal, State of Origin, Socceroos matches, big AFL games; Stadium Australia is probably one of the best grounds to watch sport in...with 80,000 plus people it is an incredible place to be. But it should be reserved for major events as when its empty you feel lost and the game and stadium lose their atmosphere...must be eery to play in when theres only a few thousand people watching

I think ANZ Stadium is the best stadium in Sydney. The viewing is terrific. I love it because this is where australia held the 2000 olympics. It is great for soccer, rugby league & AFL games.

It must be good because we qualified for Germany 2006 there. It's compromised for 2 reasons: 1. they should have left the ends the way they were... it was bigger than the MCG. 2. the AFL stuck there noses in and now its oval shaped half the time. it would be much better permanent rectangular. It tries to be all things to all people. Its still great though. A better football venue than the MCG for rectangular codes (eg the ones the rest of the world are interested in). Never been there for AFL so cant comment.

Juging on the opinions of Stormy ect. I have come up with an over all statment. Telstra Stadium holds a tonne of people and use to be the biggest stadium in Australia! But the facilities are very dud compered to stada all around AUS. The parking is horilbe because there are not enough spaces for at least 20,000 people. Overal not so good stadium.

Telstra Stadium is a brilliant stadium. But the food is a bit exspensive.e.g. bag of mini chocolates.4.50. at the cinemas.3.50.And also parking is very hard because Telstra Stadium mainly really on people to use public transport.

It was an electric stadium to watch the Olympics. I have attended Wallabies matches, State of Origin and NRL matches here and always go away unhappy. There are definitely sweet spots to sit; anywhere else and you may as well stay home and watch it on TV. Not enough Food or Drink outlets, the lines are huge during big games. In the middle of nowhere and after a big game it takes literally hours for the crowd to get away. Over rated and poor sporting experience.

Generally a good stadium. Except the access is poor, as it looks like its in the middle of nowhere! The area around it is shit after the Sydney Olympics. The view is poor if you are at the corners of the stadium (you are kind of forced to watch the big screen when play is at the other end of the field). The age of the stadium means that the seats are pretty good and the ability to move the sides in and out makes it good for other events

People are never satisfied. when u have 80,000 seats of course some are going to be a fair way away from the field you cant that. Been to this stadium lots of times and it wouldnt bother me where i sat. a world class stadium

Having been there a few times i think that the viewing is okay, atmosphere great and the facilities are amazing. The way the stadium is structured and been able to make the ground larger/smaller is unbelievble and kudos to who designed it. World class stadium.
