Collingwood like to think of themselves as the equal of Manchester United, Barcelona or the New York Giants. But their home ground shows them up for the shabby outfit they truly are. This is no "Theatre of Dreams" this is the "Theatre of Shab and Mediocrity".
I saw Pies vs Swans here in 1991 and it was a desultory experience. Good access by train leading to a tawdry underwhelming experience.

Victoria Park was a terrific home for the Magpies ,i enjoyed going there

The best ground in the world but it's a bit of a shame that Collingwood used to use it.
