I really like this stadium... it's small, it has nice atmosphere, it's comfortable, it's suburban. It's bloody cold, but you expect that in Tassie. A 10 minute walk from the city, it's access is great. About 95% of vantage points in the ground have excellent viewing too. You might be tempted to remove points for viewing because the ground is so big - I don't have a problem with that though. Only drawback is with the facilities. Whilst grandstands have been updated, a lot of this ground remains a relic from a past era, including most of the canteens and toilets. |

This ground has got it all apart from a bad siren and of course who could forget it's the home of the mighty VFL side the Tasmania Devils. |

An average stadium but would be good to get more AFL and cricket there. Definately needs a new siren. If they want more sport there they could upgrade a few things for example the technology. A good stadium considering Tasmania is small and doesn't have too many sporting teams in national leagues. |

Now personally this is a good thing to come out of Tasmania. I believe that if Australia can branch AFL down into Tasmania it'll really boost the popularity of Football down there. Maybe another few stadiums such as Auora and AFL will be a bigger hit down there then ever before. The stadium itself is a decent size, nice clean facilites and overall a nice place!!! |
