Looking pretty good these days! It's almost the right shape and size for rugby and football, at long last. A pity that getting there by car is still an absolute nightmare on game day. |

It may have history behind it. but its an ageing and poor ground. Access at a Test Match is poor, Even the upgrade of $240M for the 2011 World Cup is substandard compared previous world cups. The common excuse of NZ is a small country has long expired. Look sky tower, the vector arena. Its time New Zealand got with the programme. It'll be the last world cup we ever host. That is a realistic comment. |

Many of the stands are a aging a little and the design of the stadium is different...who cares! The atmosphere when full at the black caps games and AB games is second to none! Unfortunately the access and location isnt the best but the history at this stadium is great! Good to see that some of the "convicts" posts on this stadium arent biased at all!... |

This stadium pretty much sums up New Zeland, an utter shit heap. What went through the minds of the builders during the design phase. Name one sport apart from BASEBALL that this venue is suited to. You make me sick. |

Overall, a pretty poor venue for actually WATCHING rugby. The South and West stands are okay, but the ASB Stand and especially the dreadful terraces put you too far away from the action to really see much at all. There's no parking near the stadium. In all, a bloody shambles of a stadium - needs serious work if they want to host the RWC here..... |

In all honesty, a dump. Good luck hosting a World Cup final here. It's all odds and ends so decent redevelopment is out of the question. |
