Rushton Park

Rushton Park's proposed redevelopment has been delayed yet again due to the lack of funds allocated towards the multi-million dollar development.

Speaking on Sport FM in Perth, the CEO of Peel Thunder, Cadell Buss explained that the re-development had not received the required funding for the development to begin.

The Rushton Park redevelopment was expected to have commenced at the already delayed starting date in February, but this date has since passed as funds are still being sought to finance the multi-million dollar redevelopment.

On Saturday, Buss revealed that they were still working through the appropriate channels in order to commence redevelopment on the WAFL ground. 

"We are still going through the appropriate channels for funding from the State and Federal Government"
