Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre

Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre

The Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre was built for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and is home to Hockey NSW, with the NSW Pride in the Hockey One League playing home games at the venue. It has a capacity of 8,000, including seating for 3,000 spectators in the grandstand and on the opposite side of the pitch. The centre includes two hockey pitches. What is now pitch 2 was originally opened in the 1980's adjacent to the State Sports Centre and was upgraded in 2020.

The grandstand's distinctive roof resembles a glider soaring above the seating, and the pitch is aligned to provide the best possible view for spectators. During the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, temporary stands were installed around the field to boost the seating capacity to 15,000.
