Southport Stadium

Closed/Former Venue

Southport Stadium was an indoor basketball stadium located in Lawson Street, Southport. The venue, also known as the Rotary Youth Centre, closed in 2010 to make way for the major Southport Central development. The stadium was the first of its kind built in Queensland and hosted an international basketball game. It also hosted a Brisbane Bullets NBL home game in 2003. The old stadium had a capacity of 1,000 and by the time of its closure, its facilities had become quite outdated.
