Lambert Park

Lambert Park is the home of the APIA Leichhardt Tigers, one of the most famous soccer clubs in Australia, and NSL Champions in 1987. The ground is a purpose built soccer venue. This Leichhardt stadium is also peculiar because the playing field runs east-west.

The street frontage of the cinder block northern grandstand is a stark contrast to the ground itself, which is very pleasant. The northern grandstand runs the length of the field but is no more than eight rows tall. The southern stand has dressing room facilities on the bottom floor with a social club viewing area above. There are hills behind each goal.
