Bega Recreation Ground

Bega Recreational Ground

Situated on the edge of the Bega CBD, the Bega Recreation Ground is the premier rectangular ground in the Shire. Predominantly used for Rugby League, the ground has seen significant upgrades, particularly to the playing surface, irrigation and drainage in recent years. These upgrades have enabled it to play host to number of NRL pre-season fixtures and is the perennial venue for the local Group 16 grand final. The venue features grandstand seating mainly on one side of the field, including 100 seats undercover, a grass hill at one and an estimated capacity of around 5,000.
