Industree Group secures naming rights for Central Coast Stadium

Austadiums • Tuesday 15th November 2022

Central Coast Stadium has secured a new naming rights partnership, with the Gosford venue rebranded Industree Group Stadium.

The new name is effective immediately and will be in place for Tuesday night’s international women’s football match between the Matildas and Thailand.

The leading Central Coast-based PPE manufacturing and distribution company was unveiled as the new official naming rights partner of the stadium on Monday.

“To kick off this exciting new partnership with a Matildas match at Industree Group Stadium is something we are very much looking forward to,” Industree Group CEO Mr Jon Fleming, said.

“To be able to contribute back into the local community where our head office is based and many of our staff and their families live, is a fantastic opportunity and one that we are very passionate about evolving for the benefit of the community.”

The venue, operated by VenuesLive, has been without a naming rights partner since 2014, known by its non-commercial name of Central Coast Stadium. Industree Group is the fourth company to sign on as a naming rights partner of the stadium.

Venue Manager Kath Casey is delighted that a local Central Coast company with a multi-national presence has invested significantly into the naming rights partnership and said the transition to Industree Group Stadium will commence immediately.

“Industree Group Stadium is the people’s stadium on the Central Coast and this naming rights partnership is all about investing in the future and success of our region,” Ms Casey said.

“Industree Group is one of the great business success stories here on the Central Coast and this partnership will enable us to deliver on our commitment to bring the best events to our region, drive local tourism and business, and deliver the best possible event experience for the fans at our beautiful Stadium.”

Located on the Gosford waterfront in the heart of the NSW Central Coast, the 20,000-capacity Industree Group Stadium has hosted many sports and entertainment events since its opening in 2000.

Tuesday’s Matildas v Thailand football international will be the last opportunity fans have to see the Matildas in action in Australia until the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand next year.

The venue recently locked in at least 12 A-League Men’s home games per season for its primary tenant, Central Coast Mariners, and the club will host all home matches for its new Women’s team at the Stadium until at least 2025/26.

The 2023 NRL Fixture was released last week, with the Sydney Roosters bringing their Round 14 home game against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs to Industree Group Stadium on Sunday 4 June, while the venue will host two 2023 NRL Pre-Season Challenge double-headers, on Friday 10 February and Friday 17 February.
