This ground is a massive, dirty, dillapidated hole... and I love in. I mean, I can't in good conscience give it great ratings, but when you talk about the character in old grounds, North Hobart Oval is what you're talking about. It's facilities are non existant. It's toilets and food facilities suck. It's viewing is ok, but the viewing areas? (seats/benches) they suck! Access to the ground? Well, North Hobart Oval's proximity to the city is the only reason it continued to be used when there were a hundred reasons to not use it - still walking up hill from the city to the game sucks! Of grounds that consider themselves to be 'stadia', this might be the worst in the country. Magic place though.

I have watched so many great games here. No matter where you are around the ground you will be in a great spot to watch all the action.
This realy is an old footy home and still feels that way.
The big AFL games may not come back how ever i encourage any one to go and see a State Level game there and keep the state League alive, you will be suprised there is some realy good footy being played in Tassie at the moment
